How do I change my Meetup name?
Note: It is not currently possible to change your name via Mobile Web.Your account name is a Meetup-wide setting, which means that you cannot set different names for each of your Meetup group memberships. Your account name is also publicly visible on Meetup and in search engine results.
Desktop Web
- Click on your Profile icon in the upper right hand corner
- Select Settings from the dropdown menu
- Click edit next to your current name
- Enter your preferred name
- Click Submit
Android App
- Tap on your Profile icon
- Tap on the pencil icon
- Tap on your current name
- Enter your preferred name
- Tap the checkmark icon in the keyboard
- Tap the checkmark icon in the upper right hand corner
iOS App
- Tap on your Profile icon
- Tap on the pencil icon
- Tap on your current name
- Enter your preferred name
- Tap Save
