How To Cancel Amazon Prime Membership
How to cancel Amazon Prime 30 day free trial at any time so that you won’t be charged when the free trial ends, but you’ll still be able to enjoy all the benefits of Amazon Prime until the end of the Amazon Prime 1 month free trial period. Many people aren’t aware that by default the Amazon Prime free trial will auto-renew after the 30 day trial period and then you’ll be charged for the annual (or monthly) Amazon Prime membership. In this video Rasheed shows you how to properly cancel your Amazon Prime free trial membership so that it won’t auto-renew, and you won’t be charged.
You can end your Amazon Prime membership, or cancel your free trial to ensure it doesn't convert to a full Amazon Prime membership, in the Settings section of Your Account.
- Go to Manage Your Prime Membership.
- Depending on whether you have a paid Amazon Prime membership or are on a free trial, do one of the following:
Note: Paid members who haven't used their Amazon Prime benefits, including One Day Delivery, Prime Video, Prime Music and the Kindle Owners' Lending Library will be eligible for a full refund. Paid members who have used their Amazon Prime benefits may be eligible for a partial refund based on use.
To cancel a free trial, click Cancel free trial or Do not continue, on the left-hand side of the page. Note: If you select Do not continue for your free trial, you'll receive benefits until your free trial period ends. Then your membership will cancel, and your payment card won't be charged.
You may also choose to set a renewal reminder by selecting Remind me Later in "Do not continue", which is accessible in Your Account, under "Manage Prime membership". (This reminder option won’t be available if your renewal date is within the next three days.)
