How do I block a number on the iPhone?

Blocked users will not be able to call you or send you messages.
  1. To block a number
  2. Go to the chat with your contact.
  3. Tap on your contact's name or number.
  4. Choose Block this user.
  5. Confirm by choosing Block.
  6. Choose Ok.
  7. Go back to the conversation thread to see the alert "You Blocked this User" under the conversation header. 
To view which numbers have been blocked
  1. Open Signal.
  2. Choose Settings .
  3. Choose Privacy.
  4. Choose Blocked. 
  5. Tap on a name to see the option to Unblock or Cancel.
